User guide - Serving boards
As every unique piece of art, our products require a special care. By following the instructions in this User Guide, you will ensure excellent condition and long life of your Epoxee product.
We DO NOT recommend to:
1. Put the serving board in the dishwasher. The serving boards should be washed by hand, with warm (not hot) water. You can also use and dishwashing detergents.
2. Put hot objects (pans, pots, trays, etc.) directly on the serving board surface.
3. Cut directly on the serving board surface.
4. Store the serving boards in a moisture place or in places with direct sunlight.
Warnings:
1. Putting the serving board in the dishwasher or washing it with hot water (70 °C and above) may lead to permanent damage of the wood and/or the epoxy resin.
2. Putting a hot object directly on the serving board surface may lead to permanent damage of the wood and/or melting of the epoxy resin.
3. Direct cutting on the serving board surface may lead to permanent damage of the wood and/or the epoxy resin. Also, direct cutting on the epoxy surface may lead to release of “epoxy dust”, which can enter into the food. Once cured, epoxy resin is considered harmless to the body.
4. Storing the serving boards in places with high moisture and/or in places with direct sunlight may lead to permanent damage of the wood and/or the epoxy resin.
